Celebrating Black History Month!

National African American History Month or Black History Month was founded in 1976, and continues to be celebrated in our country every February.  This annual event steams from “Negro History Week,” which was founded by Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans in 1926.This month marks a time to recognize and celebrate the achievements that have been made by black Americans.  Join us this month in paying tribute to those who have made great contributions to our country!
