Hot Mess and Proud

Social media has a way of only showing the hi light reel of lives. I try to be a light in a dark world and while I am very real about my struggles and share the good the bad and sometimes the ugly I don't share it all, nor would you care to hear it all ;) Know this though. We are all having our own personal struggles and while you may not THINK yours are worthy of defining as a struggle they are still your personal struggles. I forget to call friends back. I don't do the dishes (hardly). Sometimes I give my son the iPad so I can do a workout. I'm not the most organized person and I rarely put on make up and anything but sweats. It doesn't make me or YOU a bad wife, bad friend, bad mom, bad person...IT MAKES YOU HUMAN! As long as you're not a meanie and you're filling the world with your best self, you're doing it right! Don't feel like you need to be perfect or compare yourself or your life to that of another because YOU are made to be happy and to be loved. Nobody is perfect! Is it easy all the time?
