Amanda Gorman The Hill We Climb Mug

On Inauguration Day, 2021, National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman recited her poem “The Hill We Climb”, and the world was transfixed by her words of wisdom, hope, light and love. Later that day, I watched her recitation again on video, and I began to draw, trying to capture her glowing essence. As she so eloquently wrote, “A new dawn blooms.”
